„ALPEGO“ MERCURY SMS -mercury mechanical seed drills are simple, very reliable machines that were designed exclusively to be used with other implements (rotary harrows, tillers or vibrocultivators). They are light-weight in order to reduce the total weight with a full load, and the seed hopper is set forward to decrease bouncing and not to compromise handling control.
In particular this model (SMS) is without a sowing bar and was designed for broadcast seed drilling; the lack of seed-drilling elements greatly decreases the length of the combined machine, making it even easier to use it in small spaces and with lighter tractors. Also its working depth is from 2,5m. till 3,0m.
